New Concepts for Living, Inc. Recognizes Employees with Special Service Award & Annual Employees of the Year Awards

(Rochelle Park, New Jersey) — New Concepts for Living, Inc. (New Concepts), a non-profit organization based in Rochelle Park, New Jersey that services people with disabilities and their families throughout Bergen County, announces that a special service award and the annual employees of the year awards were announced and the recipients recognized recently at an awards ceremony.

Special Service Awarded grande

Edward Grande, Training and Safety Director, received a special service award plaque recognizing his commitment and work to help people with disabilities and their families and for his tireless efforts to ensure that best practices were used to improve the lives of individuals the organization helps. Mr. Grande, who has worked with New Concepts for 14 years, was recently promoted from Training and Safety Manager to Training and Safety Director. In this new position, he oversees the organization’s staff training process, chairs the health and safety committee, and supervises its vehicle repair operations, among other responsibilities.

Annual Employees of the Year Awardslana

The annual employees of the year awards recognize staff who have demonstrated exemplary work and outstanding service to the organization. The following employees were honored and received a certificate:

Lana Nedilsky received the Administrative Support Person of the Year Award. Ms. Nedilsky has worked for nine years as the organization’s bookkeeper.

Maria Kaszonyi, Assistant Manager, was named the Group Home Manager of the Year. Ms. Kaszonyi, who has worked with New Concepts for three years, provides counseling to residents; coordinates educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs to meet residents’ needs and preferences; initiates and implements skills development programs for residents, as well as other responsibilities in her position.

Hillary Tann received the Driver of the Year Award. Ms. Tann, who has worked with the organization for two years, is a Senior Counselor.  She was recognized for her expert driving skill transporting and servicing clients with developmental disabilities.
