New Concepts for Living Promotes Hackensack Resident Patrizia Zurzolo to Day Program Director
(Rochelle Park, New Jersey) — New Concepts for Living, Inc. (New Concepts) announces that Patrizia Zurzolo, a Hackensack resident, has been named Day Program Director. Ms. Zurzolo, a first generation Italian-American, has worked for seven years with the non-profit, tax-exempt organization that services people with developmental disabilities and their families throughout Bergen County.
New Concepts Day Program provides vocational training for disabled consumers from throughout Bergen County. In her new position, Ms. Zurzolo oversees the programs daily operations and activities. She has held several positions in the organization, including as direct day care counselor providing supervision and assistance to disabled consumers in their vocational training, a workshop supervisor in the day care program, and as a program assistant to the associate executive director. Previously, she worked in the retail industry at Modells.
Ms. Zurzolo is enrolled as a full-time student at New Jersey City University. On weekends, she participates in New Concepts Saturday program for disabled clients in various recreational activities, such as visiting museums, bowling, watching the movies, and going to area parks.
