It’s a Picnic in October! People with Developmental Disabilities
Gather for New Concepts Annual Picnic

(Paramus, New Jersey)—October 30, 2008—New Concepts for Living, Inc. (New Concepts), a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that works with people with developmental disabilities and their families throughout Bergen County, hosted its annual picnic in October at Van Saun County Park in Paramus, New Jersey.

A large gathering of 100 people comprised of clients, families, and staff participated in festivities of face painting, enjoying good food, and listening to music. One and all enjoyed a magician’s tricks and a special visit by Honey Bear. The food for the picnic was donated by a local grocery store.

Twenty years ago, New Concepts was founded by a small group of parents concerned about the future of their sons and daughters with developmental disabilities. New Concepts is a community non-profit organization committed to people with disabilities and their families.
