New Concepts Barrier Free apartments located in Emerson New Jersey are scheduled for completion the winter of 2006. These apartments were designed with consideration given both to a functional warm home environment as well as the changing needs of the people who will live there. These design and service considerations will enable people to remain in their homes as their needs change.

The construction of these apartments is a testament to what can be accomplished through a true public and private partnership. The land located a block from downtown Emerson, was donated to New Concepts by the Borough of Emerson; and, the construction and long term financing came a federal HOME Grant provided by the County of Bergen Community Development Program and from Boiling Springs Savings Bank which provided the project an excellent mortgage rate.
